LX Semicon, Which Increased Regular Employees by 23% Last Year, Selected as Top Job Creator Company

Hiring 230 Full-Time Employees and Implementing Flexible Work Systems

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] LX Semicon announced on the 10th that it was selected as a '2022 Korea Job Excellence Company' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The Job Excellence Company is selected by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, which has chosen 100 companies annually since 2018 to encourage corporate job creation achievements. Selected companies receive benefits such as exemption from regular labor inspections, policy fund support, tax credits, exemption from tax audits, and a certification plaque signed by the President.

LX Semicon was highly evaluated for its efforts in job creation and practice of work-life balance. The company increased its regular employees by about 23% by hiring approximately 230 additional employees last year. It is also actively participating in youth job creation through a recruitment-linked internship program.

To support employees' 'work-life balance,' the company implements flexible working hours and telecommuting across the organization. It provides recommended leave about 1.5 times per month on average and sabbatical leave granted every 5 years after joining. It also operates workplace daycare centers, health care rooms, and psychological counseling rooms.
