[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 10th that it will provide the ‘Special Flood-Damaged Vehicle Support Service’ for customers in flood-affected areas until the end of this year.
The ‘Special Flood-Damaged Vehicle Support Service’ is a social contribution activity that Hyundai Motor Group conducts annually for customers affected by floods. It offers emergency support services including flood-damaged vehicle repair assistance, relief activities for disaster victims, and provision of daily necessities.
Hyundai Motor Group minimizes customer burden by offering up to a 50% discount on repair costs when flood-damaged vehicles are brought in for service, and provides free car wash service after repairs are completed. Additionally, if affected customers bring in their damaged vehicles for repair and rent a car, Hyundai supports 50% of the rental car cost for up to 10 days.
Emergency support services are also provided in flood-affected areas, including dispatching emergency support teams to supply daily necessities such as bottled water and ramen, and deploying mobile laundry vehicles to offer free laundry services. A Hyundai Motor Group official said, “We extend our deepest condolences to customers affected by heavy rain and flooding,” and added, “We hope that the ‘Special Flood-Damaged Vehicle Support Service’ we are conducting this time will be of some help in flood recovery.”
