[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] On the 15th, the 24th National Flower Mugunghwa Exhibition will be held around Ulsan Taehwagang National Garden and the Peony Garden to commemorate the 77th Liberation Day.


The Ulsan Agricultural Technology Center will showcase 150 various Mugunghwa potted plants, 50 Mugunghwa photographs, and panels containing information on Mugunghwa varieties, planting management methods, and history at this exhibition.


Citizens visiting the exhibition will be given promotional materials, 500 Mugunghwa seedlings, and 500 flowering plants each to cultivate Mugunghwa themselves and foster affection and interest in the national flower.


An official from the Agricultural Technology Center said, “To commemorate the 77th Liberation Day, we prepared this exhibition to inform citizens of the dignity and beauty of the national flower Mugunghwa and to awaken feelings of love for the country and the nation.”


The Agricultural Technology Center submitted 60 excellent potted Mugunghwa plants to the ‘2022 Mugunghwa Excellent Potted Plant Contest’ hosted by the Korea Forest Service, and the event will be exhibited from the 10th to the 15th at the Mud Plaza of Daecheon Beach in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do.
