HiteJinro Holds 'Islive Festival' for the First Time in 3 Years

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] HiteJinro announced on the 9th that it will hold the '2022 Islive Festival' on the 3rd of next month at Jarasum in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. It is the only soju music festival in Korea and is being held for the first time in three years due to COVID-19.

The Islive Festival, first held in 2018, is being held for the third time this year following 2019. The Islive Festival has been well received for its performances by top-tier artists as well as various attractions and food, and in 2019, the cumulative number of visitors on the day reached 15,682.

This year, as it is being held after three years, a more diverse range of events and content have been prepared. Eight artists from various fields, including Kim Tae-woo, Jessi, Simon Dominic, YGX, Davichi, Lee Young-ji, Kang Daniel, and MeloMance, will participate in the festival. Performances will run from 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

In addition to performances, visitors can enjoy various participatory programs such as Isul Pocha, event zones, and goods shops. Also, considering the convenience of participants in the events, the space has been expanded and rearranged. The on-site waiting time will be reduced through a pre-order system for side dishes using web, mobile, and on-site kiosks.

Tickets will be officially sold through Interpark at 12 PM on the 18th of this month. The ticket price is 10,000 won, the same as in 2019. Before the official ticket sales, 1,000 early bird tickets will be released at 12 PM on the 11th, and purchasers of early bird tickets will receive a 5,000 won Gapyeong Cultural Love gift certificate. Only adults aged 20 and over are allowed to enter the venue.

A HiteJinro official said, "We have prepared a diverse lineup for those who have waited for three years," and added, "We will lead a healthy drinking culture by embodying the cleanliness and enjoyment that Chamisul aims for."
