[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] On Tuesday the 9th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with heavy rain mainly in the central region. The southern region will continue to experience hot weather.

Expected rainfall over three days starting from the previous day is 100-250mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern Chungcheong, and northwestern inland Gyeongbuk; 50-150mm in the eastern coast of Gangwon, southern Chungcheong, northern Gyeongbuk (excluding northwestern inland), and the five western islands; 20-80mm in Jeonbuk and Ulleungdo and Dokdo. Some areas in southern Gyeonggi, southern inland and mountainous Gangwon, and northern Chungcheong may receive more than 350mm of heavy rain.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be 24-28°C, and the daytime high temperature 26-34°C. For example, Seoul (26°C·28°C), △Incheon (26°C·27°C), △Daejeon (26°C·29°C), △Gwangju (26°C·32°C), △Daegu (27°C·33°C), △Ulsan (27°C·32°C), △Busan (26°C·31°C).

Due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation, fine dust concentration is expected to be at a 'Good' level across all regions. Sea waves will be 0.5-1.5m in the East Sea and West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5-1.0m in the South Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0-2.5m in the East Sea, and 0.5-2.5m in the West Sea and South Sea.
