During the same period, sales increased by 9.0% to 573.8 billion KRW, while net profit decreased by 5.9% to 28.9 billion KRW.
Hyundai Home Shopping's second quarter operating profit on a separate basis was 26.9 billion KRW, down 11.9% from the same period last year, and net sales increased by 3.0% to 272.8 billion KRW.
A Hyundai Home Shopping official stated, "Sales slightly increased compared to last year due to the expansion of data broadcasting sales, but operating profit decreased due to the increase in transmission fees."
