38th Presidential Cup National Table Tennis Tournament Men's Doubles Victory

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] No Pureum and Do Minji, players of the Table Tennis Team in the Department of Physical Education at Changwon National University, won gold medals at the 38th Presidential National Table Tennis Tournament.

The two players won the women's doubles title at the tournament held from July 28 to August 5 at Jecheon Gymnasium in Chungbuk.

They advanced to the finals by defeating the Yongin University pair Kim Myeongseon and Kwon Yeonhee 3-1 in the semifinals, and faced the Changwon National University pair Kang Eunji and Jang Yunseo, who defeated the Hannam University pair Jeon Yeo-jin and Lee Eunju 3-2, winning 3-0.

No Pureum competed in a close match against her schoolmate Kim Goeun in the women's singles semifinals but lost 3-2 and did not advance to the final.

Kim lost 3-1 to Lee Suyeon of Incheon National University in the final, finishing as runner-up.
