[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A man in his 40s in Daegu cut off his electronic ankle bracelet and fled, prompting the police to launch a manhunt.


The Daegu Probation Office has issued flyers requesting tips for his capture and is awaiting citizen reports.


According to the Daegu Bukbu Police Station and Daegu Probation Office on the 8th, Mr. A damaged his electronic ankle bracelet and escaped near Taejeon-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu at around 11:50 PM on the 7th.


Mr. A is approximately 171 cm tall and weighs about 78 kg. He has short sports-style hair and was wearing a blue short-sleeved T-shirt, black pants, a hat, black horn-rimmed glasses, and a black mask at the time of his escape.


He does not own a vehicle and is believed to be traveling by taxi.


If you spot Mr. A, please report to the Daegu Probation Office or the police.
