Mayfield Hotel Seoul Prepares Nakwon Galbi Set and Bongraeheon Table Setting for Chuseok

Mayfield Hotel Seoul, Chuseok Gift Set.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Mayfield Hotel Seoul announced on the 8th that it has prepared gift sets and table settings ahead of the upcoming Chuseok holiday.

"Nakwon," a "39-year-old traditional galbi specialty restaurant," offers the consistently popular "Premium Galbi Set" as a holiday gift. It features carefully selected domestic Korean beef raised in the clean regions of Gangwon Province, seasoned with a marinade made by aging medicinal herbs, shiitake mushrooms, fruits, and honey. The set includes 1.5kg of domestic Korean beef marinated galbi, 1.5kg and 800g of U.S. marinated galbi, and 500g of galbijjim (braised short ribs). Sales run from August 16 to September 12, with delivery by courier from August 29 to September 1.

Bonraeheon, a traditional Korean restaurant, presents a Chuseok table setting. The head chef selects the finest ingredients and prepares them fresh early in the morning, using homemade and aged sauces. The set includes abalone galbijjim with matsutake mushrooms, domestic steamed yellow croaker, shrimp tempura, pan-fried fresh cod, zucchini pancakes, shrimp skewers, seafood japchae, three-colored namul (seasoned vegetables), and songpyeon (rice cakes). It is limited to 50 sets, sold from August 16 to September 6, with pickup available on September 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to noon.
