First Week Music Show Buzz, Physical Album Release on the 8th

Earlier, on the 25th of last month, New Jeans began pre-orders for their first album ‘New Jeans,’ which recorded 444,000 pre-orders by the third day of pre-sales. In particular, the ‘New Jeans Bag’ version, released in the form of a CDP bag, sold out immediately on the 26th.
New Jeans made their surprise debut by releasing the music video for the first title track of their debut album, ‘Attention,’ on the 22nd of last month. On the 1st, they released the digital album ‘New Jeans’ and began broadcast activities, followed by the release of the physical album.
New Jeans’ music is receiving great love while setting new records on domestic and international charts. ‘Attention’ entered the Melon real-time chart at the highest rank among girl group debut songs released in the past three years and entered the Melon daily chart ‘Top 10’ in the shortest time.
Having received a good response during their first week of music shows, New Jeans is set to begin full-scale activities. On the 4th, New Jeans performed their triple title tracks ‘Attention,’ ‘Hype Boy,’ and ‘Cookie’ on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown.’
The stage video uploaded to the Naver TV channel immediately after the broadcast ended recorded the highest number of views among the performers that day. As of the 8th, the ‘Hype Boy’ video has reached 100,000 views. Additionally, stage videos of New Jeans’ performances on KBS2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ are also recording high view counts on Naver TV.
New Jeans is a group planned under Min Heejin, CEO of the HYBE-affiliated label ADOR. CEO Min stated about New Jeans, “The ‘music’ they present is the concept and color this team pursues.” The group consists of five members: Minji (18), Hani (18), Danielle (17), Haerin (16), and Hyein (14).
