[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] Korea University Medical Center and the Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute's National Forest Healing Center have joined hands for mutual cooperation.


On the 8th, the Medical Center announced that on the 4th, it signed a business agreement with the National Forest Healing Center at Korea University Mediscience Park to promote public health and mutual development.


The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Young-hoon, Vice President for Medical Affairs, Park Gun-woo, Head of the Social Contribution Business Division, Kim Jong-yeon, Director of the National Forest Healing Center, and Kim Hyung-soo, Head of the Yecheon Operations Division, among others.


Through this agreement, both institutions plan to engage in multifaceted exchanges and cooperation based on their respective research and educational capabilities related to medical care and forest healing, aiming to enhance the physical and mental health of the public, achieve sustainable growth through ESG practices, and carry out social contribution activities, the Medical Center explained.


Director Kim Jong-yeon said, "This agreement enables us to conduct diverse and rich social contribution activities through medical care and forest welfare," adding, "We will strive to contribute to the lives of the public through mutual cooperation."


Vice President for Medical Affairs Kim Young-hoon stated, "At a time when interest in the healing effects humans gain from nature such as forests and oceans is rising, we are pleased to partner with the National Forest Healing Center," and added, "Through various forms of cooperation without being bound by formalities, we will faithfully fulfill the fundamental role of a medical institution that realizes the value of respect for life."
