Available for same-day reservation by phone daily from 9 AM to 6 PM & access to soccer field, futsal field, multipurpose field, tennis court, and jeonggu court available
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has introduced a 'same-day reservation system' to make it more convenient for residents to use Achasan Water Reservoir Sports Park.
‘Achasan Water Reservoir Sports Park’ is located at 731 Cheonho-daero and is a public sports facility with lighting, equipped with an artificial turf field and tennis courts.
Previously, to use Achasan Water Reservoir Sports Park, reservations had to be made online through the Gwangjin-gu Facilities Management Corporation website or by phone at least three days in advance.
Even if there were vacancies, same-day applications were not allowed. To operate more efficiently regarding vacancies or reservation cancellations, the same-day reservation system was introduced.
Facilities available for same-day reservation include the soccer field, futsal field, multipurpose field, tennis courts, and jeonggu courts, and applications can only be made for facilities that are vacant after regular or occasional reservations.
Same-day reservations can be made by phone at the Achasan Water Reservoir Sports Park operations office from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and both the reservation application and payment must be completed at least one hour before the start of use.
The operating hours of Achasan Water Reservoir Sports Park are from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Rental fees for the soccer field are 55,000 KRW for two hours on weekdays, and 71,500 KRW for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The futsal and multipurpose fields cost 27,500 KRW for two hours on weekdays (daytime), and 35,750 KRW for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The tennis and jeonggu courts are 8,000 KRW per hour during the day and 10,400 KRW at night, with a maximum usage time of four hours.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “With the implementation of the same-day reservation system at Achasan Water Reservoir Sports Park, we expect to invigorate the use of sports facilities by local residents and minimize vacancy rates within the sports park, thereby contributing to increased rental income for the corporation.”
