[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangsan-gu Community Self-Sufficiency Center in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 4th that it will conduct disinfection and sterilization of self-sufficiency workplaces to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This disinfection targets 18 self-sufficiency business units (enterprises) of the Eodeung Community Self-Sufficiency Center and 21 self-sufficiency business units (enterprises) of the Gwangsan Community Self-Sufficiency Center.
Through self-sufficiency enterprises specializing in disinfection, Good Disinfection 119 and Clear World Cooperative, regular monthly disinfection and sterilization of the self-sufficiency center facilities will be carried out until December.
A Gwangsan-gu official stated, “We are conducting proactive disinfection targeting the centers and each workplace to prevent the resurgence of COVID-19 and to alleviate the anxiety of participants in self-sufficiency projects,” adding, “We will strictly adhere to infectious disease prevention guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.”
Meanwhile, the Clear World Cooperative of the Eodeung Community Self-Sufficiency Center is providing jobs for self-sufficiency participants by achieving stable sales through disinfection and sterilization of 10 local children’s centers and social welfare facilities, and Good Disinfection 119 of the Gwangsan Community Self-Sufficiency Center is doing the same for 25 daycare centers and kindergartens.
