Drunk Police Officer Caught Driving Under the Influence in Police Station Parking Lot

'License Cancellation Level'... Investigation Scheduled on Drunk Driving Circumstances

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A police station employee was caught driving while heavily intoxicated in the police station parking lot.

On the 3rd, Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that at around 11:40 PM the previous day, Sergeant A, an employee of the economic team, was arrested on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act in the first-floor parking lot of Gangnam Police Station in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

It was confirmed that Mr. A, driving his own vehicle, started from an apartment in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and was chased by police who responded to a report, eventually arriving at Gangnam Police Station. Mr. A was driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.199%, which is at the level of license cancellation.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the drunk driving with Mr. A.
