[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Police have launched a pre-booking investigation into an incident in Gangnam, Seoul, where a woman in a bikini and a shirtless man rode a motorcycle recklessly on the road.
On the 2nd, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is reviewing the possibility of applying charges of excessive exposure under the Minor Offenses Act to the motorcycle driver and the woman riding as a passenger. If charged under the Minor Offenses Act for excessive exposure, a fine of 50,000 won is expected to be imposed.
On the 31st of last month, various online communities posted eyewitness accounts of a shirtless man and a woman in a bikini riding a motorcycle in the rain. Both were wearing helmets.

A police official said, "We are comprehensively reviewing the application of charges for excessive exposure under the Minor Offenses Act and the possibility of filing a court case," adding, "We also need to examine whether there is any habitual behavior."
