CJ OnStyle Strengthens Eco-Friendly and Partner Collaboration New Products... "Accelerating ESG Management" Eco-friendly and partner collaboration new products sold by CJ OnStyle.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CJ OnStyle announced on the 2nd that it is actively launching new products to promote customers' eco-friendly consumption and strengthen win-win management with partner companies.


Odense, CJ OnStyle's representative dining kitchen brand, has released an eco-friendly reusable cup. It is made from bio-PE (polyethylene) material produced by EcoMass, a bio-plastic specialist developer, using sugarcane. The product has received environmental label certification and certification for no detection of endocrine disruptors. It is sturdy enough for semi-permanent reuse and is 100% recyclable, so it poses no burden even when disposed of.


CJ OnStyle is actively supporting partner companies in developing and promoting eco-friendly products. Recently, it conducted a live commerce broadcast for the hand wash "Baeg-in Box" by Saenghwal Gongjakso, a living category partner with whom CJ OnStyle has strengthened relations through a 2 billion KRW investment. This product was developed with the benefit of CJ OnStyle's partner company research and development (R&D) support system and is a large 3L package. Compared to using twelve 250ml existing products of the same total volume separately, it can reduce plastic by about 90%, making it eco-friendly.


The eco-friendly electric motorcycle "Leo," exclusively sold by CJ OnStyle on TV home shopping, is also popular. It is a high-performance product with a maximum speed of 80 km/h launched by AIMS, a company specializing in electric scooter charging platforms. A CJ OnStyle official said, "We are actively carrying out management activities to have a positive impact on the environment and grow together with members of society," adding, "By actively supporting partner companies' development and promotion of eco-friendly products, we will strive to build a virtuous ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) consumption ecosystem that ultimately enhances customer satisfaction through value consumption."
