[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Seongdo ENG has risen to the top 50 in the construction company construction capability evaluation.
According to the industry on the 2nd, Seongdo ENG ranked 59th in the '2022 Construction Company Construction Capability Evaluation' announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 31st of last month.
The construction capability evaluation is based on the construction performance, management status, technical capability, and credibility of construction companies. Last year, Seongdo ENG significantly reinforced its professional construction personnel such as technical engineers, receiving high recognition for its technical capabilities. Despite the construction market recession, it achieved a 9-rank rise compared to the previous year's construction capability ranking, thanks to strong orders in the smart complex logistics center and semiconductor industrial plant sectors.
Lee Eon-woong, CEO of Seongdo ENG's General Construction Business Division, said, "Our company's firm position as a top construction company was established because we are involved not only in construction work but also in business development areas such as land acquisition, permits, financing, and pre-sale promotion from the early stages, which has led to high customer satisfaction and additional linked orders." He added, "So far, Seongdo ENG has grown mainly in non-residential facilities, but going forward, we will expand our scope to residential facilities and civil engineering projects such as industrial complex development to become a solid first-class construction company."
