[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Monday, August 1, is expected to be mostly cloudy nationwide with rain in most areas.

Expected precipitation until the 2nd is 50-100mm in Jeonnam region, Gyeongnam region, and Jeju Island; 30-80mm in Jeonbuk region, Gyeongbuk region, and the five West Sea islands; and 10-60mm in Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and Gangwon Yeongdong.

Strong winds will blow very strongly in Jeju Island until dawn. There may be gusts along with thunder and lightning over the seas around Jeju Island, so caution is advised for maritime safety accidents.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be 24-27 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature 28-32 degrees Celsius.

Fine dust levels are expected to be good across all regions.

Sea waves will be 0.5-2.0m in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5-2.0m in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5-3.0m in the South Sea nearshore.

Wave heights in the outer seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0-2.5m in the East Sea, 0.5-3.5m in the West Sea, and 1.0-4.0m in the South Sea.
