[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The Ministry of National Defense announced on the 31st that 1,289 additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed within the military.
As of 2 PM on the same day, the additional confirmed cases were 920 in the Army, 102 in the Navy, 140 in the Air Force, 71 in the Marine Corps, 52 in the Ministry of National Defense direct units, 2 in the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and 2 in the Ministry of National Defense.
The total cumulative confirmed cases in the military stand at 211,365, of which 11,375 are currently under management.
