90Hz Super AMOLED Large Display
OIS-Supported High-Resolution Quad Camera Applied
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Samsung Electronics announced that it will launch the reasonably priced 5G smartphone 'Galaxy A33' on the 29th.
The A33 5G, featuring a sleek design with slim bezels, offers a comfortable viewing experience with its 6.4-inch (162.1mm) large Super AMOLED display. It especially supports a 90Hz refresh rate to enhance immersion.
The A33 5G is equipped with a total of four cameras on the rear: a 48MP main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, it has a 13MP camera.
Equipped with a 5nm processor, it uses powerful artificial intelligence (AI) technology to capture brighter and clearer images even in low light. The evolved 'Night Mode' automatically takes up to 12 shots and combines them to improve the clarity of night photos. When shooting videos in low-light environments, the frame rate is automatically adjusted to produce clearer results.
Additionally, the 'Portrait Mode' combines dual cameras with AI technology to enable more accurate and deeper portrait shots, and the 'Fun Mode' supports entertaining filters and effects, enhancing the joy of photography. Notably, it also supports the 'Photo Remaster' feature, which automatically optimizes resolution, brightness, and color for low-quality or old photos, and the 'AI Eraser' feature that removes unwanted objects from photos.
Furthermore, it is equipped with a large 5000mAh battery and 128GB of internal memory, allowing users to use more data for longer periods. It supports IP67-rated water and dust resistance, so users can use it worry-free in daily life without concerns about water or dust.
The A33 5G will be released as an unlocked model and through the three major mobile carriers, priced at 499,400 KRW. It comes in three colors: Awesome Blue, Awesome Black, and Awesome White.
Samsung Electronics plans to offer a 2-month free trial of the premium video streaming membership 'YouTube Premium' to customers who purchase the device.
