Cozball Group Signs Business Agreement with TeamStory for 'Metaverse 2.0 Commercialization'

Personalized daily skincare brand Kozball and metaverse specialist company TeamStory held a business agreement ceremony on July 26 at the Kozball Group headquarters located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, signing a partnership for the 'world's first commercialization of the Metaverse 2.0 platform' by both companies.


At this agreement ceremony, it was agreed to create a new metaverse campus unique to Kozball through TeamStory's advanced Metaverse 2.0 platform.


TeamStory stated that the Metaverse 2.0 platform has been upgraded compared to existing metaverse platforms, including increased simultaneous user capacity, improved usability for metaverse users, and various compatibilities. They also mentioned that it provides a wider virtual space and can express more realistic 3D graphics than previous platforms.


Kozball Group has so far developed skin measurement technology using smartphone apps to provide customized cosmetics tailored to each consumer's skin. Taking a step further, they plan to build the Kozball campus in the metaverse space, creating a unique virtual universe called the Kozball Campus where cosmetics purchase, delivery, and education will be possible.


The Kozball Campus will be the first domestic and overseas case to commercialize and utilize TeamStory's Metaverse 2.0 platform. Through this, Kozball plans to support more diverse marketing and promotional strategies in the metaverse space. It is expected that the combination of the cosmetic brand and the metaverse platform will create a positive synergy effect in the future market environment characterized by online and non-face-to-face features.


Jang In-sang, chairman of Kozball Group, expressed his ambition, saying, "The Kozball Campus will be a driving force for global growth together with the approximately 70,000 members currently registered on the Kozball app. Until now, we have promoted our products worldwide by traveling to countries around the world and participating in exhibitions such as Cosmoprof, but from now on, we will realize this through the Kozball Campus implemented in the metaverse."
