[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Korea Racing Authority Busan Dong-gu Branch recently donated sponsorship funds to low-income children living in Dong-gu, Busan.

The Dong-gu Branch delivered 3.5 million KRW in sponsorship funds for the daily necessities support project "Choroki Jempang" to the Busan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center of the ChildFund Korea.

The delivery ceremony was attended by Lee Jung-geun, head of the Korea Racing Authority Busan Dong-gu Branch, and Cho Yoon-young, director of the Busan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.

This sponsorship fund was raised through the operation of a child participation sharing market where children participate and make choices. The Racing Authority hopes this will provide economic assistance and emotional support to low-income families with children facing difficulties.

Lee Jung-geun, head of the Busan Dong-gu Branch, said, "We will continue to expand various social contribution activities and strive to help children from low-income families grow up bright and healthy."
