SK Shielders launches 'Gajok Care' subscription service

Official Update of 'MobileGuard'

SK Shielders launches 'Gajok Care' subscription service

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] SK Shieldus (CEO Park Jin-hyo) announced on the 28th that it has officially updated the Android mobile care application 'Mobile Guard' and started the official subscription service for the 'Family Care' feature.

The Family Care feature, which is officially launched this time, offers four services: detection alerts, activity detection, location alerts, and family exercise monitoring. Service users can register and care for up to five family members.

Detection alerts send push notifications to family members when malicious apps or smishing messages are detected on a family member's smartphone, preventing hacking or smishing incidents. Activity detection is a service that detects whether the smartphone used by parents is moving to check on their well-being. Location alerts detect whether the guardian-set safe zone has been left, ensuring the safety of elderly family members with dementia or young children. The newly added family exercise monitoring feature in this update records the number of steps taken by family members, allowing users to check via graphs and support systematic health management.

SK Shieldus continues to provide the Mobile Guard's mobile vaccine function free of charge as before. The latest artificial intelligence (AI) vaccine engine can detect new malicious apps, remote control apps, etc., in real time, and various inspection functions such as smartphone precision inspection, memory optimization, and smishing inspection are also available for free. Cho Hyung-joon, head of SK Shieldus Comprehensive Technology Institute, said, "We plan to continue adding various care services that customers need."
