[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on the 27th that it has signed a 2022 Future Core Technology Convergence Intensive Corporate Support Agreement with 10 promising local companies, including Sinjin Precision, NGonggu, Mirae Information, L-TOP, ThreeH Goods, Lala Labs, Jikida, Aju Environment, Gwangmyeong Bio Industry, and Vital Sign.
According to the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce, this agreement was promoted as part of the 2022 Gwangju Job Creation Innovation Project "Promising Companies Future Core Technology Convergence Package Support" supported by Gwangju Metropolitan City and the Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office.
Reviewing the main contents of the agreement, it includes the introduction of new businesses through expert-focused technical support in desired new technology fields, support for new product development, product upgrades through new technology convergence, process improvement, resolution of technical difficulties, and support for R&D proposal writing. The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce plans to support the agreement matters for the 10 companies that signed the agreement until the end of October.
Chae Hwa-seok, Executive Director of the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce, said, "Through focused technical support from experts in new technologies such as AI, IoT, Big Data, XR, and automation systems, we will actively support the partner companies to serve as a catalyst for entering new businesses by converging future core technologies into their main products."
A representative of one of the partner companies stated, "Although we possess technological capabilities and product competitiveness, we faced difficulties in writing R&D proposals due to a lack of professional personnel and information. Through the support project of the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce, we expect to receive various information related to government public projects and support for R&D proposal writing, which will serve as an opportunity to establish a foundation for increased sales and job creation."
