The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education recently held a personnel committee meeting and terminated Ms. A's contract.
According to the police and the education office, Ms. A's husband noticed that she was not returning home until late at night and that she had lied about her illness. After checking the vehicle's black box and other evidence, he confirmed that Ms. A had entered a lodging facility with a young male. It is known that the couple is currently undergoing divorce proceedings.
Article 17 of the Child Welfare Act stipulates that no one shall subject a child to obscene acts or sexual harassment that causes sexual shame or other forms of sexual abuse. Under the Child Welfare Act, anyone under the age of 18 is considered a child, and violators of the law face imprisonment of up to 10 years or a fine of up to 100 million won.
