[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Dalseong-gun, Daegu conducted live commerce training for 30 local farmers to develop sales channels for agricultural products.


This training provided an opportunity to learn about live commerce and sales speech skills that can induce consumer purchases by understanding new distribution trends.


Live commerce, which has recently gained attention, is a non-face-to-face marketing distribution trend that has rapidly emerged after COVID-19. Unlike general home shopping, it allows product promotion and sales through mobile broadcasting and enables real-time comments with consumers, attracting much attention.


A Dalseong-gun official said, “We will actively conduct online sales training and various other education programs in cooperation with local related organizations to increase farmers' income.”
