[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] Despite the news of raids on domestic virtual asset exchanges related to the Terra and Luna incident, the price of Bitcoin is showing an upward trend.

As of 8:47 PM on the 20th, Bitcoin is trading at 31.07 million KRW on the domestic virtual asset exchange Upbit, up 1.36% compared to the previous day. At the same time, Ethereum was recorded at 2.09 million KRW, up 3.21% from the previous day.

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office Joint Investigation Team on Financial and Securities Crimes began raiding 15 locations across 7 domestic exchanges from 5:30 PM today, securing related data including Luna transaction records.

After investors who suffered losses from the Luna and TerraUSD (UST) crash filed a complaint with the prosecution in May accusing Terraform Labs CEO Kwon Do-hyung and others of fraud, the joint investigation team has been reviewing legal matters for the past two months and conducting investigations targeting former Terraform Labs employees.
