At this provincial sports festival, the county announced on the 20th that athlete Lee So-hee (Gyeongbuk Physical Education High School) won the gold medal in the women's high school 800m track event, and all eight taekwondo athletes from Goryeong High School (Kim Dong-geon, Jo Han-gyeom, Lee Ki-hyun, Seol Jae-hyun, Gwak Jun-young, Kim Hyun-woo, Kim Jun-seo, Kim Kyung-min) won gold medals, totaling 16 gold medals.
