[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Jaguar Land Rover Korea announced on the 20th that it has officially started sales through pre-orders of the 8-seater off-roader Land Rover All New Defender 130, specialized for extreme off-road adventures. Pre-orders for the All New Defender 130 are exclusively available through the Land Rover online store.
The All New Defender 130 is a model that ultimately embodies the wide-ranging capabilities of the Defender by combining outstanding durability and overwhelming all-terrain driving performance with a third-row seat, allowing a spacious interior that can accommodate up to eight adults.
The All New Defender 130 will be launched in Korea with two trims: the 'All New Defender 130 P400 X Dynamic HSE' model equipped with a powerful mild hybrid (MHEV) gasoline engine, and the 'D300 X Dynamic HSE' model equipped with an efficient MHEV diesel engine.
The high body height and short front and rear overhangs that complete the rugged silhouette of the All New Defender deliver excellent approach and departure angles, designed to perform superbly on any terrain. Along with this, the sleekly refined surfaces, emphasized bold horizontal lines, strong shoulder lines, and square wheel arches showcase the toughness and solidity of the All New Defender. The All New Defender 130 differentiates itself by adding unique signature design elements to this iconic Defender design.
The All New Defender 130 extends the rear overhang by 340mm compared to the All New Defender 110, applying a third-row seat that comfortably accommodates three adults. Additionally, the third-row seat can be folded in a 40:20:40 split, allowing various seating configurations for different purposes, and folding both the second and third rows provides a maximum trunk space of 2291 liters.
The All New Defender 130 P400 X Dynamic HSE model is equipped with a new 3.0L I6 Ingenium gasoline engine featuring a lightweight aluminum structure, twin-scroll turbocharger, 48V supercharger, and low-friction design, delivering a maximum output of 400PS and peak torque of 56.1kg.m, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. We hope you experience the special adventures that only Land Rover can offer through the All New Defender 130, which provides a wider and more spacious interior to be a comfortable travel companion for the whole family."
