[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] MyData company Hecto Innovation (formerly Min&Ji, CEO Lee Hyuncheol) announced on the 20th that it has released the customer data analysis results for one month since the launch of The Ssen Card and extended the event period for ‘Get Your Card Benefit Rate Diagnosed’.
Launched in June by Hecto Innovation, ‘The Ssen Card’ is the first service among MyData providers in Korea that automatically calculates and manages card performance based on information of about 35,000 benefits from all domestic cards.
To commemorate the launch, Hecto Innovation conducted a promotion diagnosing the points and various discount benefits customers received over about a month, providing grade-based report cards and support funds. Approximately 15,000 customers participated during this period.
Examining the linked card products of participating customers, Hecto Innovation found that ▲1st place was Shinhan Bank The More Card ▲2nd place KakaoBank Friends Check Card ▲3rd place Toss Bank Card in terms of most linked cards. It was also found that cards with good benefits were held uniformly across all age groups regardless of generation.
On average, customers received card benefits amounting to about 1% of their card usage amount. However, customers who used different cards depending on the payment place and actively utilized various promotions received card benefits up to 12%.
To repay customer support, Hecto Innovation extended the support fund event. The current ‘Encore! Get Your Card Benefit Rate Diagnosed’ event offers support funds (up to 30,000 KRW) equivalent to twice the average card benefit amount (converted into Korean won from points accumulation, discounts, and various card benefits) over three months and will continue until the budget is exhausted.
Lee Hyuncheol, CEO of Hecto Innovation, said, “We extended the event period so that users of The Ssen Card can check their card benefits and better utilize their cards. We hope everyone can easily check through The Ssen Card whether they are missing any benefits and enjoy a frugal ‘Jjantech’ lifestyle.”
Meanwhile, Hecto Innovation changed its company name from ‘Min&Ji’ to ‘Hecto Innovation’ in June and announced a new business vision. Based on its know-how operating various IT services, Hecto Innovation plans to build a ‘mega platform’ encompassing various app services.
