[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] Innosimulation, a smart mobility extended reality (XR) metaverse company, announced on the 19th that it has passed the technology evaluation for a KOSDAQ special technology listing.
The special technology listing system grants eligibility for companies with excellent technology to request a preliminary listing examination if they secure a certain grade or higher through evaluations by technology evaluation agencies.
For the technology evaluation, a company must receive an A grade and BBB grade or higher in technology evaluations from two professional evaluation agencies designated by the Korea Exchange.
Innosimulation received A grades from both NICE Information Service and NICE D&B through comprehensive assessments of technology completeness, competitive advantage, commercialization level of technology products, and market competitiveness, verifying its high-level digital twin-based XR simulation technology, competitiveness, and marketability.
The digital twin-based XR simulation technology possessed by Innosimulation builds a digital environment identical to real environments or objects to simulate situations that may occur in reality and predict the outcomes.
This technology requires a considerable level of research and development and expert knowledge in the field and is regarded as a high-entry-barrier area. Especially, environments with high complexity and degrees of freedom, such as smart mobility, present even greater technical challenges.
Innosimulation supplies XR solutions and virtual training simulators for smart mobility to the global market. Its main technology product, METATRACK, comprehensively provides an ultra-realistic XR metaverse environment necessary for developing smart mobility such as autonomous vehicles in a virtual world.
CEO Cho Junhee stated, "The results of this technology evaluation not only fulfill the requirements for requesting a KOSDAQ listing examination but also recognize the differentiated technology and marketability that Innosimulation has built up over time. We will expand our core smart mobility simulation technologies into various industrial fields going forward."
Meanwhile, based on this technology evaluation result, Innosimulation plans to request a preliminary listing examination in the second half of this year, with Hana Securities serving as the lead underwriter.
