Mokpo National Maritime University Hosts 2022 Family Company Exchange Day

The Korea National University of Mokpo held the 2022 Family Company Exchange Day.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Hyeong-seok] The LINC3.0 Project Group of the National Mokpo Maritime University held a "Family Company Exchange Day" for one night and two days from the 12th to the 13th at the Sinan Sea One Resort in Jeonnam, with about 50 participants including family companies, executives and employees of related organizations, and faculty members.

The event was held to build a network with Mokpo Maritime University family companies and related organizations and to explore various exchange activities. Starting with the congratulatory speech by President Han Won-hee, the program included ▶ Introduction of participating family companies (Kim Bu-gi, Director of the Corporate Collaboration Activation Center) ▶ Introduction of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Group (Yang Chang-jo, Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation Group) ▶ Introduction of the LINC3.0 Project Group (Choi Hyun-jun, Director) ▶ Introduction of the Ship Repair ICC (Nam Taek-geun, Center Director) ▶ Introduction of the Autonomous Ship ICC (Yoon Ik-hyun, Center Director) ▶ Special lecture on global manners (Professor Jeon Jin-myeong, Gwangju University) ▶ Discussion on regional industry-industry-academic cooperation development plans.

In particular, the event provided an opportunity to promote the LINC3.0 project by introducing various family company support systems such as family company technical guidance and industry-academic joint technology development projects promoted by the LINC3.0 Project Group.

President Han Won-hee said, "I would like to thank the representatives of various industries and related personnel who participated in the Family Company Exchange Day event," and added, "We will make further efforts to ensure mutual growth and development between local industries and the university through continuous exchanges and the establishment of consultative bodies."
