[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Christian publisher Duranno Seowon and AI audio content company Voicella have signed a business agreement to produce audiobooks based on AI voice synthesis.
The first collaboration project involves using the AI voice model of the late Pastor Ha Yongjo, who was highly respected in the Christian community, to create audiobooks of his lifetime writings.
The audiobooks will be released through Duranno Seowon's digital content platform, 'DuPlus (du.plus)'.
Chu Heonyeop, CEO of Voicella, stated, “Voicella has been deeply considering what role the audio Bible and the content platform Biblely can play in the church and Christian content market, which has undergone many changes due to COVID-19. We plan to expand opportunities not only to pastors but also to the general public, fulfilling the important mission of spreading the audio Bible.”
Voicella is collaborating with major Christian organizations such as Onnuri Church, Good Shepherd Church, Oryun Church, Basic Church, Christian broadcasting station CGN TV, Pastor Yoogiseong’s With Jesus Ministry, and the G&M Global Foundation to create a new paradigm in the Christian media industry.
