"Customized Meal Plans and Fitness Management Services" Hyundai Green Food Operates 'Greeting Office Health Promotion Program' A nutritionist from Hyundai Green Food is providing one-on-one nutrition counseling services to customers using group meal services.

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Hyundai Green Food is set to improve its group meal program ‘Greeting Office,’ which incorporates health management functions as part of differentiating its group meal business.


Hyundai Green Food, a comprehensive food company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, announced on the 14th that it will operate the ‘Greeting Office Health Promotion Program’ in collaboration with the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation.


This program is an upgraded version of Greeting Office, which provides personalized care food menus after one-on-one nutrition counseling by dietitians for general companies using group meal services. Along with the Greeting Office service, the comprehensive fitness management service ‘National Fitness 100’ operated by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation will be provided.


The program will be piloted for one month at five locations, including Hyundai Green Food headquarters and client companies’ group meal sites. A total of 150 customers, 30 from each site who wish to use the service, will receive nutrition and dietary habit counseling from Hyundai Green Food dietitians. Based on the results, menus suitable for the customers’ nutritional status will be provided instead of the usual lunch distribution at the group meal sites. These include ‘Diabetes Menu’ for diabetic patients, ‘Low-Sugar Menu’ with reduced sugar for health management, ‘Calorie Menu’ mainly composed of salads, and ‘Longevity Village Menu,’ which reorganizes the dietary methods of Blue Zone regions known for a high proportion of centenarians.


The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation will conduct an initial personal fitness assessment and provide customized exercise prescriptions based on the results. After operating an online fitness improvement class for one month, a second fitness assessment will be conducted. Hyundai Green Food plans to offer gifts to participants who show high participation rates in the online fitness classes and demonstrate improved results in the second fitness assessment compared to the first. Through operating this program, Hyundai Green Food aims to double the number of companies using Greeting Office from the current 20 to 40 by the end of the year.
