Incheon Emerging with Seoul Line 2 Cheongna Extension, Benefiting 'Seohae Granble New Urban'

The passage of the private sector feasibility review for the Daejang-Hongdae Line has given momentum to the subsequent project of extending Seoul Subway Line 2 to Cheongna, sparking excitement in the real estate market around Incheon.

The Daejang-Hongdae Line is a metropolitan railway project connecting Bucheon Daejang New Town and Hongdae Entrance Station on Seoul Line 2. According to the 4th National Railway Network Plan, the extension of Seoul Line 2 to Cheongna will proceed once the Daejang-Hongdae Line passes the private sector feasibility review.

The Seoul Line 2 Cheongna extension project will connect from Hongdae Entrance Station on Seoul Line 2 through Bucheon Daejang New Town, part of the 3rd New Towns, and Gyeyang District including Jakjeon Station on Incheon Line 1, extending to Cheongna International City in Seo District. Once extended to Seoul Line 2 following the Daejang-Hongdae Line, accessibility to downtown Incheon is expected to improve significantly.

Amid these successive transportation benefits, Seohae Comprehensive Construction Co., Ltd. is recruiting members from June 17 for the regional housing association apartment “Seohae Grandble New Urban” in Gyeyang District, Incheon.

“Seohae Grandble New Urban” is a regional housing association apartment located in Hyoseong-dong, Gyeyang District, Incheon Metropolitan City, consisting of five buildings ranging from two basement floors to 29 floors above ground. It comprises a total of 373 units, including 143 units of 59㎡ and 230 units of 84㎡, the most preferred sizes. The “Hyoseong Station (planned) Regional Housing Association Promotion Committee” (tentative name) obtained the membership recruitment report certificate on May 4, ensuring stability.

Jakjeon Station on Incheon Line 1 and a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) stop are located near the complex, allowing travel to Seoul’s downtown area within an hour via Incheon Line 1. Various bus routes and proximity to Bupyeong IC, Seo Incheon IC, Seoun JC, the 1st Metropolitan Area Circular Expressway, Gyeyang-daero, and Bong-o-daero provide convenient access throughout Incheon, Seoul, and the metropolitan area. Additionally, the complex is near planned transportation developments such as Hyoseong Station on Seoul Line 2, GTX-D, and GTX-B lines, promising to become a prime station-area complex in the future.

Within a 1km radius, over 20 elementary, middle, and high schools are concentrated, including Hyoseong Seo Elementary, Buk Incheon Girls’ Middle School, Myeonghyeon Elementary and Middle Schools, Hyoseong High School, and Hyoseong-dong Elementary School. The area offers convenient access to academies near Gyeyang District Office and is close to Gyeongin National University of Education Incheon Campus. Nearby natural amenities include Cheonmasan, Gyeyangsan, Hyoseong Park, and Yeongsin Park, providing a pleasant residential environment.

Various shopping and convenience facilities such as Eyesville Outlet, Homeplus Jakjeon Branch, E-Mart Gyeyang Branch, Jakjeon Market, Homeplus Gyesan Branch, Lotte Mart Gyeyang Branch, and CGV Gyeyang Branch are located nearby. Administrative institutions like Hyoseong-dong Urban Regeneration Welfare Center, Hyoseong 119 Safety Center, Gyeyang District Office, and Gyeyang Police Station are close, along with medical facilities including Hanmaeum Hospital, Hanlim Hospital, and Incheon Sejong Hospital.

The future value is also high. The Gyeyang Techno Valley development project, a major development benefit in Gyeyang District, is a new town development project covering 3,331,714㎡, jointly promoted by Gyeyang District and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation. Following the completion of Seoun General Industrial Complex, the Gyeyang Industrial Complex and Gyeyang Techno Valley are expected to revitalize the surrounding old downtown areas.

The residential spaces are built with a 4-bay slab-type layout, offering excellent lighting and views, and are advantageous for ventilation and airflow. Features such as a living room pantry, entrance storage, large dressing rooms, and U-shaped kitchens provide ample storage space. Full options for appliances and furniture (built-in refrigerator, kimchi refrigerator, built-in induction cooktop (3 burners), 8-person dishwasher, kitchen TV, shoe cabinet system, furniture, bathroom cabinet) maximize convenience, and indoor balconies can be expanded free of charge.

An official stated, “‘Seohae Grandble New Urban’ boasts clear presence with development benefits, abundant infrastructure, and high future value,” adding, “With differentiated features such as specialized 4-bay design and the first full-option free provision in Gyeyang District apartments, inquiries from buyers are pouring in.”

Meanwhile, the “Seohae Grandble New Urban” promotional center is currently operating.
