"Summer Vacation Preparation" Gmarket·Auction, 'Living Leisure' Up to 69% Discount Gmarket·Auction, 'Living Leisure' Promotion.


[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Gmarket and Auction announced on the 12th that they will hold a large-scale 'Living Leisure' promotion targeting summer vacation demand until the 17th, offering various products for vacationers and homecations at discounts of up to 69%.


Through 'Hello Vacation,' they present summer season products in categories such as swimwear, leisure goods, and infant and children's items themed around water play. They introduce water play products, swimwear, and vacation look seasonal sale brands, selecting three special price brands daily to offer representative products at special prices. Camping, leisure, and automotive products are also available. Customers can purchase at even lower prices by applying up to 12% discount coupons, overlapping brand coupons, and Smile Card benefits.


Through the 'Living Fair,' they showcase furniture and interior, lifestyle, kitchen, and hobby category products suitable for summer. Customers can find popular products and benefits in each section through summer white paper seasonal products, bestsellers, brand of the month, kitchen and lifestyle goods, furniture and bedding, and flower corners. Discounts, overlapping coupons, and coupons issued when paying with Samsung or KB Kookmin cards registered in Smile Pay are applicable.

Meanwhile, after the endemic (periodic outbreak of infectious diseases), ways of enjoying summer vacations are becoming polarized. Although the number of traditional vacationers enjoying cool water play has greatly increased, there are still many who prefer homecations. An analysis by Gmarket and Auction of sales growth rates for water play-related products from July 1 to 10 compared to the same period last month showed significant increases in sales of water play products (367%), water and underwater sportswear (160%), beachwear and swimwear (40%), and swimming goods (47%). During the same period, home decoration products such as bedding sets (67%), mood and sleep lights (74%), and gardening and plants (51%) also gained popularity.
