‘Pycoil Biotech Korea Co., Ltd.’ Leads Corporate Environmental Management with Seondori Mudflat ‘Companion Beach’ Cleanup Activities

Microalgae research and development technology company, Pycoil Biotech Korea Co., Ltd., announced that it has been regularly conducting cleanup activities since adopting Seondori Beach in Seocheon, Chungnam, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, in 2019 through the 'Companion Beach' program led by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

Pycoil Biotech Korea Co., Ltd. develops commercial platforms for various microalgae and discovers commercially valuable microalgae species in nature to produce high value-added raw materials. The company focuses on developing safe food ingredients from environmental pollution, new bio-materials, and new pharmaceutical raw materials for human health, discovering diverse microalgae species from oceans worldwide and striving for industrialization.

Especially under the motto of 'eco-friendly,' Pycoil Biotech Korea Co., Ltd., which started in Silicon Valley, USA in 2009, is preparing to begin construction of its second plant, the largest in Asia, in Sejong City in the second half of this year. The first plant located in Gongju City, Chungnam, is the only company in Korea equipped with mass production facilities, developing and producing various plant-based microalgae-derived raw materials.
