530,000 Registered Stores · 18 Million Cumulative Users · Approximately 500 Million Usage Instances
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The number of users who have become 'regular customers' of neighborhood stores through Danggeun Market's Biz Profile has surpassed 2 million. Danggeun Market (co-CEOs Kim Yong-hyun and Kim Jae-hyun) announced on the 11th that the number of users receiving local store updates through the 'Become a Regular Customer' feature on Biz Profile recently exceeded 2 million. More than 200,000 stores currently have regular customers through Biz Profile.
As Biz Profile has become known as an effective service for gathering regular customers, the number of neighborhood stores joining is also rapidly increasing. Since its launch in February last year, 530,000 stores have joined in just 1 year and 5 months. This averages to about 30,000 new stores per month. The number of users is also growing quickly. Currently, the cumulative number of Biz Profile users is 18 million, with approximately 500 million usage instances.
The click-through rate for regular store updates displayed on Danggeun Market's Home Feed is more than 8 times higher compared to general secondhand transaction posts. Danggeun Market plans to strengthen connections to effectively link neighborhood stores operating within local living areas and nearby residents, aiming to increase sales, expand regular customers, and ultimately revitalize local commercial districts.
Kim Eun-ji, head of the Danggeun Market Biz Profile team, said, "According to internal data from Danggeun Market, 5% of regular customers account for 20% of total store sales, showing that for stores operating based on local communities, regular customers are the most important source of revenue," adding, "We are working hard to strengthen connections so that good neighborhood stores can be discovered by residents and continue to be visited regularly by loyal customers."
