[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Yoon Hee-geun, the nominee for Commissioner General of the National Police Agency, tested positive for COVID-19 on the 10th.
According to the police, Yoon tested positive for COVID-19 on that day and will undergo home treatment until the 16th.
During Yoon's isolation period, the Planning and Coordination Officer will act on his behalf for external schedules. The police plan to prevent any work gaps by conducting remote reporting and other non-face-to-face methods even during self-quarantine.
