The Small Love Sharing Movement Headquarters Visits Dongdaemun District Office on the 8th Afternoon to Donate Food Worth Approximately 12.15 Million Won

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced that at 3:30 PM on the 8th, the Small Love Sharing Movement Headquarters (Representative Lee Nam-sook) visited Dongdaemun-gu Office and delivered 27,000 hotteok (valued at 12.15 million KRW) for low-income living facilities, usage facilities, and low-income families.

The delivery ceremony took place in the mayor's reception room on the 5th floor of Dongdaemun-gu Office, attended by Dongdaemun-gu Mayor Lee Pil-hyung, Small Love Sharing Movement Headquarters Representative Lee Nam-sook, Executive Director Namgung Moon-seon, Volunteer Leader Son Eun-sook, and Deputy Director Kang Ki-seon.

The donated hotteok were immediately distributed to two child protection facilities, two welfare facilities related to violence against women, thirteen community child centers, eight welfare centers affiliated with the Community Social Security Council, and fourteen neighborhood community service centers within the district, reaching low-income facilities and households.

Representative Lee Nam-sook, who delivered the hotteok, said, “We prepared this event with the desire to deliver food supplies to low-income groups in Dongdaemun-gu and the facilities they frequently use, and we hope they enjoy the hotteok.”

Dongdaemun-gu Mayor Lee Pil-hyung stated, “We are grateful to the Small Love Sharing Movement Headquarters for continuously donating and volunteering to help neighbors in need,” and added, “The hotteok you donated will be promptly delivered to neighbors who need assistance.”

The Small Love Sharing Movement Headquarters has continued to support with donations valued at approximately 188.995 million KRW through various goods including daily necessities, reaching out to marginalized groups in the community such as elderly living alone, severely disabled persons, and multicultural families, providing help throughout the district.
