[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] KT Alpha's mobile coupon service 'Giftishow' is taking the lead in enhancing the welfare of employees at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by converting corporate welfare products into mobile coupons.

According to KT Alpha on the 7th, Giftishow signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with eZnerdu, a welfare platform specialist company, on the 6th to expand the distribution of welfare products based on mobile coupons and related business areas.

Through this MOU, SMEs that find it difficult to introduce separate welfare malls can now provide corporate welfare benefits to their employees using mobile coupons.

eZnerdu is a leading company in selective welfare, having developed the first welfare points and welfare cards in Korea. Approximately 2 million employees from over 2,000 companies and institutions nationwide enjoy various welfare benefits provided by eZnerdu.

Based on this MOU, Giftishow will issue and sell eZnerdu's main welfare products, such as health checkups and domestic accommodation reservation products, as mobile coupons. In addition, it plans to expand partnerships to allow the purchase of various tangible and intangible special-priced products through mobile coupons.

Purchasing welfare product mobile coupons is available through Giftishow Biz, a corporate-exclusive bulk sending service, with a total of five denominations available. (100,000 KRW, 200,000 KRW, 300,000 KRW, 500,000 KRW, 1,000,000 KRW)

Without a separate welfare mall within the company, any employee can enjoy welfare benefits. After accessing the Giftishow exclusive mall and converting to online points, employees can make reservations at about 270 affiliated health checkup centers and 500 domestic accommodation facilities.

Jung Kiho, CEO of KT Alpha, said, “We will not only expand partnerships such as welfare products and benefits but also contribute to strengthening the welfare of SMEs through mobile coupons.”
