Serenity CC "Transforming into Mammoth Golf Resort"..."27 Holes + Condo + Complex Community Center"

Serenity CC "Transforming into Mammoth Golf Resort"..."27 Holes + Condo + Complex Community Center" A pool villa-style resort condominium located in Serenity CC.

[Asia Economy Kim Hyun-jun, Golf Specialist Reporter] Serenity CC, operated by Daom Holdings Co., a prestigious company in the central region, is transforming into a mammoth golf resort.

On the 6th, it was announced that "nine new course holes will open this September, expanding to a total of 27 holes, and by June next year, 40 full-villa style resort condos and a community center will be constructed within the year as part of the ‘Serenity Golf & Resort’ project." Construction on the nine new holes has already reached 92% completion. The new holes harmonize with the existing 18 holes, and the course offers a ‘Sky View’ from the clubhouse center, providing views of parts of the course and the entire city of Sejong.

In particular, the beach bunker combined with an 8,000-ton large pond at the 7th hole (par 4) is a perfect ‘signature hole.’ The 40 condos, designed by Professor Kim Chan-jung of Kyung Hee University’s Department of Architecture, come in three styles: 30-pyeong, 50-pyeong, and 70-pyeong, and are located on the approximately 18,000-pyeong area with the best views. Professor Kim was selected as one of Asia’s six young architects and is renowned for projects such as the Museum of Korean Children's Books Art (MOKA), Hana Bank’s PLACE1 in Samseong-dong, and JTBC’s new headquarters.

The top-tier complex community center is in its final stage. It will have three underground floors and three above-ground floors, featuring a member lounge accessible to both golf course and condo members as well as the general public, an infinity pool, convention facilities, a 200m driving range, bakery & cafe, and various other amenities. Accessibility is expected to improve significantly once the Seoul-Sejong Expressway (Second Gyeongbu Expressway) fully opens in June 2024. Daom Co. also operates the 27-hole Podo CC in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk, alongside Serenity CC.
