According to Lotte Hi-Mart on the 7th, air conditioner sales from the 1st to the 6th of this month increased by 195% compared to the same period last year. In some areas such as Daegu and Gangneung, the waiting period for air conditioner installation has increased, causing installation delays of up to 5 days.

A Lotte Hi-Mart official stated, “Currently, we are operating nearly 100% of our nationwide air conditioner installation teams, and after this weekend, installation delays are expected nationwide,” adding, “We are working to minimize consumer inconvenience by efficiently managing the installation teams so that air conditioners can be installed the day after purchase.”
