[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Lee Je-hoon (38) heated up Bangkok and successfully held his first overseas fan meeting.
Lee Je-hoon successfully concluded the fan meeting (LEE JE HOON, ON : THE SCENE, 1st FAN MEETING IN BANGKOK 2022) held twice on June 22 and 23 at Central World Live in Bangkok, Thailand.
This fan meeting was held at the enthusiastic request of Thai fans who have shown much love for Lee Je-hoon's serious and masculine charm through last year's SBS drama Taxi Driver (directed by Park Jun-woo, written by Oh Sang-ho and Lee Ji-hyun) and the Netflix series Move to Heaven: I Am a Legacy Cleaner (directed by Kim Seong-ho, written by Yoon Ji-ryeon). It was also prepared as an opportunity to respond to the support of overseas fans who have consistently cheered and shown interest in Lee Je-hoon's solid filmography.
Since it was a meeting with overseas fans who supported him from afar, various events took place. In the first session, Lee Je-hoon transformed into Do-gi from Taxi Driver, and in the second session, he became Sang-gu from Move to Heaven: I Am a Legacy Cleaner, presenting a unique opening with cheerful role-playing.
Lee Je-hoon performed not only Korean songs but also songs by Thai artist Armchair and American artist LANY, who are popular among Thai people, after months of practice. Fans responded with sweet singing along.
Thai fans gave Lee Je-hoon an overwhelming emotional surprise event. To welcome the actor's first visit and celebrate his upcoming birthday, fans prepared a heartfelt surprise video, and Lee Je-hoon, moved by this, expressed his sincere gratitude.
After finishing the diversely composed performance, Lee Je-hoon met with fans directly. He spent a long time greeting each fan and taking photos together, rewarding the fans who came until the very end.
After completing his first overseas fan meeting, Lee Je-hoon said, "I was truly happy to have the opportunity to feel your great love directly in my heart," and added, "I will work harder to create opportunities to visit like this every year. Thank you."
Meanwhile, Lee Je-hoon finished filming the movie Escape (directed by Lee Jong-pil) in the first half of this year, and has confirmed his appearance in the SBS drama Taxi Driver 2 (directed by Lee Dan, written by Oh Sang-ho) in the second half of the year.
