Lotte Chilsung Beverage Launches 'Pepsi·Pepsi Zero Sugar' IU Edition

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 7th that it has released limited edition 'Pepsi' and 'Pepsi Zero Sugar' featuring the image of singer and actress IU.


The Pepsi IU Edition is applied to 600mL Pepsi and 500mL Pepsi Zero Sugar PET bottle products and will be produced in limited quantities until the end of next month. Pepsi features its signature blue color on the label and cap, along with various icon images and IU's image, while Pepsi Zero Sugar is characterized by its black representative color with neon sign images and IU's image. The Pepsi IU Edition consists of two types of Pepsi and two types of Pepsi Zero Sugar.


Pepsi Zero Sugar, launched in January last year, surpassed cumulative sales of 310 million cans (based on 250mL) within 1 year and 6 months until June this year. Along with the release of the limited edition Pepsi IU Edition, Lotte Chilsung Beverage plans to carry out marketing activities that provide consumers with a unique brand experience and strive to boost the zero-calorie carbonated beverage trend, which is leading the growth of domestic carbonated drinks.
