[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City and LG Uplus signed a business agreement at 10:30 a.m. on the 7th in the Ulsan City Hall Situation Room, focusing on revitalizing local tourism as a major project.
Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom attended and held the agreement ceremony with Jung Soo-heon, Vice President and Head of the Consumer Division at LG Uplus.
Ulsan City and LG Uplus agreed to cooperate in attracting tourists and promoting collaboration with small business owners to revitalize local tourism.
The main contents of the agreement include △ development of tourism content and promotion linking online and offline channels △ joint planning and administrative support for activating tourism products △ promotion and discount support through partnerships with the tourism industry △ mutual cooperation to revitalize Ulsan tourism and local commercial districts.
Jung Soo-heon, Head of the Consumer Division, said, “This business agreement was made to boost the local economy and offer customers a special experience,” adding, “We will continue the Why not campaign, which provides customers with ‘joy beyond limits’ through more local introductions and related benefits in the future.”
Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom said, “I believe today’s business agreement will contribute to establishing Ulsan’s image as a tourism city,” and added, “We will steadily increase cooperation to revitalize local tourism by leveraging the strengths of both organizations.”
