Preparing to Welcome Guests Ahead of July 12 Opening

The 'Hyeongsan River Outdoor Water Playground' is busy preparing with facility inspections ahead of its opening on the 12th.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The ‘Hyeongsangang Outdoor Water Playground’ located along the Hyeongsangang River in Yeonil-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang City, is busy preparing to welcome guests by inspecting facilities such as the lazy river pool, adult pool, and toddler pool ahead of its opening on the 12th.

The Hyeongsangang Outdoor Water Playground uses tap water instead of river water, ensuring good water quality. Covering an area of approximately 9,000㎡, it is equipped with various pools including a toddler pool, lazy river pool, and adult pool, as well as water slides, making it very popular among citizens.

Operating until August 31, the water playground limits the number of users to 600 per session, dividing usage times into morning and afternoon sessions. Thorough daily disinfection and sufficient safety personnel deployment will be ensured so that all visitors can enjoy safe water play.

Usage is operated through an online reservation system on the Pohang City Facilities Management Corporation website starting five days before the date of entry. Admission fees are 5,000 KRW for adults and teenagers, 3,000 KRW for children under 12 years old, and free for infants under one year old.
