'Bucheon Pay' Payment Available at Bucheon International Film Festival Goods Shop

Delivery Teukgeup Discount Coupons and More Offered

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province has enabled payment with the local currency 'Bucheon Pay' at the goods shop during the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) period (July 7?17) to promote Bucheon Pay.

This is intended to promote Bucheon Pay through the film festival and provide convenience to citizens participating in the festival by allowing Bucheon Pay payments during the event.

The city will operate a promotional booth for the public delivery app 'Baedal Teukgeup' from July 8 to 10, distributing various promotional items such as cooler bags and paper coupons on a first-come, first-served basis to citizens who sign up for the Baedal Teukgeup app.

Baedal Teukgeup is a public delivery app with no advertising fees and a 1% brokerage fee, officially launched in Bucheon City in December last year.

Baedal Teukgeup runs various consumer promotions, including monthly delivery fee support, 'Teukgeup Day' (a 5,000 KRW coupon on the third Friday), and weekend Baedal Teukgeup coupons (3,000 KRW coupons on the last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Additionally, Bucheon Pay online payments are available, and besides a 10% incentive, a 5% discount coupon is provided when paying with Bucheon Pay.

A Bucheon City official stated, "We plan to actively promote 'Visiting Bucheon Pay' and 'Baedal Teukgeup' at local festivals to encourage citizen participation. We hope this win-win consumption will relieve the burdens of small business owners and consumers struggling with rising prices and revitalize the local economy."
