In his commemorative speech, Governor Lee Cheol-woo said, “We will add two more Neighbor Village model sites, which represent the 7th elected administration’s rural revitalization efforts, and prepare countermeasures tailored to local conditions by utilizing the local extinction response fund, which will invest 1 trillion won annually over the next 10 years. We will swiftly and properly construct the integrated new airport and prepare ahead for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, making Gyeongbuk a leading region in the local era where businesses can grow and people can live happily with opportunities.”
