[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Coloray (CEO Zuo Zhongbiao), a Chinese manufacturer specializing in pearl luster pigments for cosmetics, announced on the 6th that following its successful completion of verification tests for raw material suppliers of the Est?e Lauder Group, it has also secured opportunities to strengthen collaboration with P&G (China).
Coloray recently smoothly passed the international SGS certification test commissioned by the Est?e Lauder Group to the international SGS certification body, targeting raw material suppliers of the Est?e Lauder Group.
Regarding this, a company representative stated, “Since 2013, we have been supplying pearl luster pigments to Est?e Lauder through KOBO, a US-based global cosmetics raw material distributor, and we expect that this certification test will further strengthen our future supply cooperation.”
The international SGS certification includes ISO 22716, EFfCI GMP, and comprehensively reviews product manufacturing, quality control certification, GMP certification for raw materials, product production, testing, distribution, shipment, manufacturing environment, and safety management.
Additionally, Coloray is also moving to strengthen strategic collaboration to expand product supply with P&G (China), a global consumer goods company. Coloray stated, “During a recent inspection visit by P&G (China), we received high evaluations in various areas such as service quality and new product development capabilities, and we had in-depth discussions on applying Coloray’s new products to P&G’s new product lines in the future.”
So far, Coloray began cooperation discussions with P&G (China) in 2020 and obtained EFfCI-GMP certification in 2021 to establish a strategic partnership with P&G. Since then, the strategic partnership with P&G has been formalized, and from this year, Coloray has been supplying pearl luster pigments to P&G (China)’s product lines.
A Coloray representative said, “We are also simultaneously conducting tests on new high value-added pearl luster pigments exclusively supplied to Est?e Lauder,” adding, “Through this SGS certification test, we will further strengthen cooperation as a trusted partner with global companies such as the Est?e Lauder Group and P&G, rapidly driving order acquisition and sales growth.”
